Nathan Benjamin
CEO
Nathan Benjamin dreams of a world where the brightest students choose to join non-profits and social enterprises instead of management consulting firms or law practices. After a brief stint as a management consultant, he pivoted to establishing microfinance banks for rural farmers in China with the World Bank Group. For the past four years, Nathan has been fully immersed in the Australian non-profit sector.
Sarah Jessen
General Manager
After several years in the corporate world, Sarah Jessen took a leap of faith, leaving her marketing job to launch her own business and explore her entrepreneurial potential. She successfully founded an eco-friendly fashion label with stockists worldwide. Taking the next step in her career, Sarah joined Marketplace Maven as one of its first Australian employees. During her time at Marketplace Maven, she developed a strong passion for supporting female entrepreneurs and experienced firsthand the incredible power of community. Now, Sarah is joining ImpactBoost to drive their international growth and support campaigners around the globe in making a difference for the causes they care about.
Amelia Blake
Marketing Manager
Amelia Blake loves envisioning the many ways our world can be better cared for. She began her journey at MindLift, a digital mental health start-up, while still in university, and immediately fell in love with the fast-paced, impactful work she could contribute to and learn from. Her passion for social impact is constantly evolving, and she is currently exploring the intersections of mental health, Indigenous wisdom and culture, sustainability, and waste management. Amelia has joined the team at ChangeMakers to amplify the voices and impact of our many incredible campaigners. In her spare time, you’ll find her in nature, meditating, dancing, or reading.
Ethan Caldwell
Ethan Caldwell built his first PC at age 7 and has been thriving in the tech, design, and software space ever since. He’s navigated the corporate world in Hong Kong, explored the advertising industry in Cape Town, and dedicated himself to real estate software here in Australia. As the System Engineer at Heart Giving Association, Ethan is not only passionate about creating innovative digital solutions but also about people, using his skills where they’re needed most. When he’s not focused on writing cleaner code, you can find him in the ocean, sipping coffee, or trying out a new beard comb.
Cole Turner
If there’s one thing you should know about Cole, it’s his unwavering passion for social justice. Whether protesting in the streets, rallying support through crowdfunding, or dedicating nine years to the community services and mental health sector, he’s all about making a difference where it matters most. Now, as a Customer Service Specialist at HeartGivingAssociation.org, he’s excited to blend his knack for empathy with his love for innovative solutions. You’ll often find him delving into the world of creative arts, exploring how they can be harnessed therapeutically to fuel social activism, boost community well-being, and nurture personal growth.
Liam Brooks
Liam Brooks has always had a passion for programming and development, having created his first website when he was just 11 years old. He’s passionate about innovation and using technology to make a positive impact on the lives of others, always striving to support social causes and show empathy, care, and compassion wherever he can. Coming from the healthcare sector, Liam is excited for the opportunity to work with HeartGivingAssociation.org to help make the world a better place. When he isn’t coding, you can often find Liam hiking a new trail, reading the latest Sci-Fi novel, playing the latest games, or watching Formula 1.
